Simulating the Elimination of the US Corporate Income Tax

This NBER Working Paper finds that eliminating the corporate income tax would result in: (1) a rise in capital stock by 23 to 37 percent, with most of the added investment capital flowing into the U.S., (2) a rise in real wages of 12 to 13 percent, and (3) a rise in GDP of 8 to 10 percent.

Also, everyone gains: There are no losers for this reform. Laurence Kotlikoff, Hans Fehr, Sabine Jokisch and Ashwin Kambhampati
